Sandra Lupo
 Sandra, who would have been instrumental in helping to organize and instruct at the very first Beaders in Paradise,  returns with an eagerness to meet and teach students once again.
Sandra teaches wire techniques for jewelry-making at the Newark Museum Arts Workshop, and at regional and national events, including the Bead & Button Show. She is an Ambassador for CREATE YOUR STYLE with SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS. Sandra's designs have been published in Beading with Crystals, Beading With Pearls and Wire Style and her design, "Valley of the Queen,” has been featured on the cover of the Fire Mountain Jewelry Maker's Catalog of Best Sellers. Her video tutorials for Fire Mountain Gems can be viewed by clicking the links from her website. Sandra is an original B.I.P, Bahama Beading Babe.

CROCHET WITH WIRE – CHAIN STITCH

TECHNIQUE: WIREWORK /CROCHET

SKILL LEVEL: ALL 

Description: The chain stitch is the basis for wire crochet: easy to learn and fun to do. Learn proper closure techniques – gathering crystal beaded strands and graduating into cones. If you have never crocheted, this class is for you.Students get to work with  Parawire thin gauge wire, beads, clasp and cones as closure

If you have made chain stitch, but never in wire – this class is certainly for you. If you have made a chain stitch wire necklace and want to do it again, this class is for you too!

LADDER BRACELET WITH BIG HEART CHARM and CABS

Description: Swarovski Elements, resin beads and spacer bars make for a fun, lightweight but chunky bracelet in a rose gold palette, complete with copper findings. Take the fun to another level with an added big heart charm, you stud with resin cabochons and Swarovksi Elements flat back crystals. A surprise addition will include wire mesh to round out new products and techniques to work with.

SKILL LEVEL– ALL
 Description: Students will develop the skill to work with Fine Silver and Argentium Silver wires that fuse to themselves – no need for solder, flux or pickle. Become comfortable with the torch to properly fuse these metals.  Once fused, learn to reshape and texture the wire to create a pleasing design with pendant beads.Students will work with Fine Silver and Argentium Wire, Pendant Beads, Sterling Silver Wire, Oxidizer

SKILL LEVEL: ALL

Description: Create wire components to build and complement your artistic jewelry designs. Students will use a variety of wire types and sizes to form wire components in either sterling silver, silver-filled or copper wires in the following shapes: round, half-round, and twist. Using the proper tools and determining wire gauges and tempers are integral to this workshop. Wire manipulation includes: wrapping loops, hammering, twisting, coiling, texturing, and making ear wires.Students will work with Copper Wire, some Sterling Silver wire, stones and beads

TOOLS TO BRING: Ball peen/chasing hammers, basic hand tools -plier sets/cutter,anvils or steel bench blocks

Integrating the dynamics of both Swarovski Elements and metal, students will roll, twist and add sparkle to a wire bracelet of coils and jump rings.Students will work with Parawire Antique Copper/Vintage Bronze Wires and Jump rings, Swarovski Elements, Copper plated clasp
